This Sunday, we will observe All Saints Day. All Saints is a day of remembrance for the saints, with the New Testament meaning of all Christian people of every time and place. On All Saints Sunday, we celebrate the spiritual union of the members of the Christian Church, living and the dead. They are often thought of as part of a single mystical body, with Christ as the head, called the communion of saints.
During the time of prayer, we will name all the members of our church that have died in the past year. At the time, we will have a chance to honor each of these members and to recognize other loved one’s that have died. Please join us for worship, either in person or on our livestream for this special day in the life of our church.
Also, consider joining me at 8:30am in Fellowship Hall for Beginner’s Bible study. We will take a quick, but deeper dive into the morning’s scripture: John 11:32-44. All are welcome!
