Confirmation
Confirmation Class is offered regularly as-needed (typically beginning in February) for youth seeking deeper perspectives on God and the church. Pastor Eric leads a series of fun and thought-provoking group discussions and activities to help youth discover for themselves the role God might have in their lives, and the role they might have in God's church.

Wednesday Bible Study
Wednesday Bible Study runs September-May on Wednesdays at 9:30am via Zoom. We share the Bible verses for each upcoming worship, discuss the directions of the sermon, pray and touch base with how we see God at work in our lives. We meet in the Lounge in Fellowship Hall at 180 York Street.

Community Suppers
First Parish partners with the York Community Service Association and other local organizations to host community meals in Fellowship Hall. Everyone's invited to attend!
When: The first and third Tuesday of each month
Time: Beverages will be served at 4:00 PM, followed by dinner at 5:00 PM
Spiritual Care

The Oasis
First Parish offers you spiritual growth opportunities through in-person gatherings, volunteer opportunities, special events, and inspirational emails! The pastors' blog "The Oasis" goes out once a week, bringing relevant and relatable inspiration to your inbox every Wednesday.
Community Care
Environmental Care

Creation Care Committee
God entrusted humankind with caring for the earth. We are committed to becoming a 'zero-waste' church and that means we reduce, reuse, recycle. Beach clean-ups, composting, and tire-pressure checks are just a few of the ways we're making a difference in York. We strive to educate the community about ways to reduce each of our carbon footprints through presentations and printed materials.

Composting
First Parish offers compost drop off to its congregation and the community. First Parish is on the road to zero waste.

Beach Cleanup
The Creation Care Committee organizes regular Beach Clean Up days for the community and the congregation. Everyone is welcome. Check our calendar for dates and times.
